At present, digital functions are widely used in the field of vehicles. To digitalize automotive dash board, Renesas offers a revolutionary 32-bit automotive grade MCU SH7264. It has a built-in 1Mbyte large-volume high-speed SRAM and requires no external RAM. In addition, it features built-in video input display controllers and can perform image processing operation. A reference design is also released to the public with 1 set of 480x272 color TFTs, 4 sets of gauges, 2 sets of CAN bus communication and a lot of I/Os and LED control.
As well, to meet the requirements of different fuel-related/environmental protection measures and individual users, Renesas releases new MCU SH72531 for automotive power train control. It offers built-in 1.25Mbyte on-chip Flash memory and Advanced Timer Unit-III (ATU-III) and is packed in a 176pin LQPF, such that it is easy to achieve complex real-time power train control and lower power consumption. |
